Chromaburst

A giant colourful hug, Chromaburst is designed with small amounts of yarn in mind. 25 triangles, joined as you go, this shawl is perfect for festive countdowns, scraps, or leftovers from treasured projects.

Skill Level: Intermediate

Skills required: basic crochet stitches, ability to identify part of stitches for joining motifs. The pattern is written in UK terms but a conversion chart can be provided.

Materials

• 6.5mm crochet hook (or hook appropriate for gauge) 
• 450g fingering weight yarn or 25 20g mini skeins - yarn is held doubled throughout pattern
• Optional 40g fingering weight yarn for border
• 5 removable stitch markers
• Scissors and tapestry needle 

Gauge 

• 5 v-stitches, 7 rows over 4x4 inches/10x10cm..
• Finished dimensions: 208cm wide, 69cm from centre to tip.
